StayKnown is a consent-first personal safety app built by 6Clement Joshua to help people stay connected with the people they trust during everyday movement, visits, communication, and emergency moments. StayKnown is not a hidden tracking app, and it is not built for surveillance or control. It is designed around trust, consent, privacy, approved contacts, and responsible safety awareness. The goal is to give users a safer way to let trusted people know when they are okay, when they are moving, when they may need attention, and when an urgent situation requires help. With StayKnown, users can create a trusted safety circle by adding approved contacts and emergency contacts. These are not random followers or public connections. They are people the user personally trusts and wants involved in their safety flow. Contact approval helps protect privacy by making sure safety connections are intentional and consent-based. One of the key features of StayKnown is Visit safety. A user can start a Visit when they are going somewhere, meeting someone, traveling, walking, commuting, attending an event, or moving through a place where someone trusted should be aware. During a Visit, StayKnown can help share safety context with approved contacts, including LIVE progress when the user chooses, so trusted people can stay informed without turning the experience into forced tracking. StayKnown also includes I’M SAFE check-ins, allowing users to confirm that they are okay and reassure the people who care about them. This is useful for daily safety awareness, travel, family reassurance, student safety, creator movement, workplace movement, and personal routines. For urgent moments, StayKnown supports SOS awareness, helping users alert trusted contacts when immediate attention is needed. It is built to support emergency communication, not replace emergency services. The purpose is to help the right people know quickly when something feels wrong. StayKnown also includes safety-aware chat, giving users a more private and trusted way to communicate with approved contacts. The chat experience is designed with privacy controls, trusted connection context, and responsible communication in mind. Users can communicate in a safer environment where conversations are connected to real safety needs, not public attention or social media noise. For younger users, StayKnown includes Guardian Approval, adding an extra layer of protection for children and teens where needed. This helps ensure that younger users are not entering safety flows without trusted adult awareness and approval.
