Tale

Tale is an open-source project workspace for teams and AI agents. Keep plans, tasks, shared context and files together, delegate work through supported agent runtimes, and review the results in the same workspace. Tale provides persistent agent workspaces and task workflows for teams coordinating human and agent work. Assigning a task alone does not execute it; execution and review remain distinct steps. The Community software is MIT-licensed and free to self-host. Hosting and model/provider usage costs are separate, with optional paid Enterprise support and services.
